Dr. Goldfarb,

A CT has been done and is normal. That said, I don't hold a lot of stock in CT Scans. I had many done on my pancreas when I had Chronic Pancreatitis and they all showed me to have a pretty normal pancreas. Based on other tests, we knew this was not the case. When they went in to remove part of the pancreas, the pancreas was not normal. A year later when they went in to remove the remaining portion, it was fibrotic and sclerosed! The day before the removal of the remaining portion of the pancreas, the CT showed "Normal." This was not just one hospital over the time I was ill, but several hospitals and different radiologists reading the scans.
