Re: BREASTHEALTH: Is it ok to ask for a breast exam

By all means, please ask for a manual breast exam. Chances are your dr. has been focusing on everything else which is okay. Your forthcoming yearly check-ups will include this.

At 40 you should be having yearly mammograms, an annual manual exam by your dr. and doing monthly self breast exams.

Please ask, your dr. he won't find this out of the ordinary nor will he be uncomfortable. Schedule your mammogram appointment today.

Best wishes.
