PROLAPSE: Problems after Hysterectomy-Prolapse??From: JC (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 9 Feb 2008 10:33:42 -0600 (CST)
I am 5 weeks post op from LAVH removal of left ovary, intestinal and bladder adhesion repairs. My recovery has been great until this week. Sudden burst of bright red bleeding and than pulling sensation down in the vagina. Feels like something is "stuck". It is worse when standing/walking or sitting on non padded surface. Urinating isn't a problem, can hold it, not pain when going and no leaking. Doc's appt. is still a week away. I have followed all the rules, no heavy lifting or pulling, nothing strenuous. Could this be a prolapse of some sort and what are the options to remedy it?
