GYNECOLOGIC: Some irritation in vaginal-hormonal changes?

Hey everybody, I'm new to this forum. About two months ago, I stopped taking the birth control pill orthocyclen after seven years of beingon the pill. In the past month or so, I've been having symptoms in my vagina that are difficult to describe-more of a slight irritability and this feeling of wanting to urinate (because of the irritability?) It just feels different down there, enough to raise some concern for me. Also, since I've stopped taking the pill, I've been having more stomach gas than usual and Intermittent discomfort especially in my left lower quadrant of my abdomen. Can my symptoms be attributable to hormone changes from being off the pill? In addition, I was treated for UTI with bactrim about 2 months ago and then given another round of antibiotics (this time cipro) for suspected inadequate treatment (was still having symptoms) about 1 1/2 weeks later. After the second round of cipro, I developed a yeast infection and was put on terazol 7. I had a pap 2 1/2 months ago and it was negative, tests for gonorrhea and chlamydia are negative, UC just showed lactobacillus species. At the follow-up appointment a week ago, with the pelvic examination it didn't bother me at first, but it felt tender when the nurse practitioner pushed down on the lower left and right side of my pelvis (my ovaries?). I just attributed the increased tenderness to my ovulation and to the fact that I was having more gas pains so I didn't mention anything. Is this normal to have tenderness around ovulation? Any help you would be willing to give me, is greatly appreciated.
