Re: PREGNANCY: pregnancy after inguinal hernia repairFrom: Garry Siegel, MD (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 29 Jan 2008 17:04:36 -0600 (CST)
Message posted on Garry Siegel, MD behalf by: Hope, Women’s Health Forum Moderator The growth of your abdomen during a pregnancy could worsen the hernia and, in a few cases, become a surgical emergency. Get the hernia repaired, and I would bet that you can start trying within a couple of months, but do ask the surgeon.
