Re: PREGNANCY: 29 weeks pregnant with preterm laborFrom: Callie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 26 Jan 2008 21:45:04 -0600 (CST)
Thankyou for your response, The FFN came back negative I've been having them every two weeks. I spoke with my doctor and he basically told me because I wasn't dilated they didn't want to give me the steriods or medicine to stop the contractions. They thought it would be best to try pain meds and if those didn't work then I should go back to L&D. He did ask that I come in to L&D to check to see if the babies head was engaged. I don't really know but I don't think that's a reliable source for anything because I am sure the baby can move again right? I've never had a full term baby either my last was born at 34 weeks. About this time with her I started experiencing extremely painful contractions. I decided to read back on notes I made and it's pretty much the same thing all over again. But this time I atleast know that I will not make it full term I will be lucky if I do. She went head down at 32 weeks and stayed there until we got in a car accident she then went breech. I ended up having a c-section.
