If this happens when you change position, or exercise, or have intercourse, then it most likely is due to a recurrent rectocele or similar prolapse problem where air is trapped in the upper vagina. A rectovaginal fistula (hole between rectum and vagina) is also a possibility, but usually there is a bad odor associated with this. Either your gyn or colorectal surgeon can diagnose either of these problems. Best wishes,
