MISCARRIAGE: Suffering miscarriage , is it normal?

I am having a miscarriage with most of it having taken place on Monday and Tuesday (I think). Very little bleeding today, with a drop here and there. Since last night I've been having an achiness on my right side and have had low back pain for most of today. Is this normal during/following a miscarriage? Also, I've read online that things should be odorless, but I am having an odor. Sorry for being so discriptive, but I didn't know how else to say it. Also, one minute I am fine, and the next I am ready to cry or am in constant worry that something is going to happen to someone I love. I have been told that these feelings are also normal. Is this true? How long should everything last for? Any advice is really appreciated!!! Thank you!!
