I had a D&C to remove a polyp on September 26, 2007 and I have not had a period since. In early December, I took 100 mg of Prometrium for 10 days and to no avail. My doctor asked me to come in for a sonogram and said everything looked normal and my endometrial lining is the thickness it should be. That was two weeks ago and I STILL haven't started although I know I ovulated because I had fertile cervical mucous for two days. Now, my doctor wants to put me on another round of Prometrium but this time, it's 200 mg instead of 100 mg like before. I am so incredibly frustrated because my husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost a year (and we are both 36 and not getting any younger). My polyp was discovered during an HSG back in August. Is this uncommon? I am scared that something went wrong when the D&C was done but I had very little pain and bleeding afterwards. I just don't know what more to do and I can't figure out what the problem is - stress maybe? I have been having cramps and my usual PMS symptoms the past two months (didn't have in October and November) and haven't even had any spotting!!! I would appreciate any information or advice I can get my hands on.
