Hi Alison,
I can relate to the pain you mention. I too remember when I was at that
age (I started mine age 9)- the upset stomach, staying in bed, bleeding
alot, and overall feeling miserable. I hated when my periods came. I
hope you can find a Gyn who will be understanding and help you find a
solution. Some women don't experience cramps and bleeding problems.
Some other women do experience them, but don't want to talk about it.
Ask your doctor about ultrasound, other tests to see if there is a
specific problem. Please keep in touch.
