Anon,

One the lists I mentioned (EndoDocs and ERC Listserv), you will see several true specialists listed. Dr. Albee and Dr. Sinervo from The Center for Endometriosis Care are truly two of the SPECIALISTS in the US for Endometriosis. David Redwine is another. There are really only a handful of true Endo Specialists.

If you feel comfortable posting the State in which you live, I can see if I know of anyone near you. That said, those that have traveled to see Dr. Albee, Dr. Sinervo (both in Atlanta, GA) and Dr. Redwine (Bend, Oregon), have been extremely pleased with the results. They do not recommend a hyst unless there is no other option. Dr. Albee excised my Endo June 1998. I had to have a hyst due to Adenomyosis this past Nov 2007, and the Endo still has not returned!! That is 9 1/2 years endo free!!! I think that speaks volumes to Dr. Albee's work.
