In situations like that: 1. Postmenopausal bleeding necissitates DC biopsy to exclude malignancy of the uterus. 2. Presence of cysts at that age is not acceptable, even if it is benign at the time being.

So, the presence of Postmenopausal bleeding in addition to ovarian pathology means that you better discuss with your doctor the option of hysterectomy and removal of the ovaries.
