about 5 weeks after my vaginal hysterectomy which also fixed droopy organs, I began to have pain in my low pelvis, right about the bone you sit on. long story short, one Dr. said I had inflamation around my tail bone, take antiinflamatories. Pain got worse, ER Doctor said I had a Pilonidal Cyst that heed to be operatraed on. Surgeon sayd no I dont have a cyst, did a rectal probe looking for anything..came out good. Back to Gyno, try this different drug Motrin 800mg. waited a few weeks. 2 diff doctors both subscribe me different antidepresents. after a few days they make me feel strange and my body is getting puffy, but the pain is still there. Next I started seeing a chiropractor a few times a week, not helpful for the pain, but my back is loose. Pain doctor now wants to do epidural steroid injections in my SI joint, spaint disc L 4&5, tried it..didn't help my pain. I've got to an accupunturist several times...no help. Pain doctor wants to try one more injusjion into my Piriformis muscle. Didn't help. Next step it surgery to remove the ligature attached to the sacrospinos ligament. I want to know if this is an involved surgery and should I really expect it to help. I have done everything asked of me, every alternative treatment to try to get fixd.I'm afraid...my last hospitalization was stressful to say the least. Are there any doctors out there who can give me some example of a good outcome in this type of situation? Thanks ever so much Kathy
