It's possible your gyn performed a vaginal apex suspension, to prevent your vagina from falling out years from now. If so, sometimes these stitches, which are deep in the vagina, can cause pain until they dissolve completely. Or, they can form a neuroma ("pinched nerve") that may require cutting of the suture. I'm sure your gyn would be happy to see you. Best wishes,
