HYSTERECTOMY: Op report says endometrial implants in posterior cul-de-sac. What does that mean in the future???

I had a TVH 8 weeks ago. I just got a copy of the Operative Report today and found out that endometrial implants were found in the posterior cul-de-sac. My doctor never said anything about this to me, only that pathology confirmed adenomyosis. I have 2 concerns:

1. My understanding is that a vaginal hysterectomy should not be done if there is endometriosis (which I had a past history of and clearly had at the time of surgery) because of a potential to spread. 2. It's too late now, but I'm wondering if this could cause problems in the future. Why didn't my doctor say anything about finding endometriosis? The implants must still be in there, so what do I do now?
