Robin Well, that depends. 1. out and out injury(devascularization or transecting), it may have to be resected and reimplanted into the bladder, or more complex-beyond out discussion at this point 2.kinking-it may need a stent put in to allow the ureter to straighten out and do ok. All I can tell you based on info so far...dr. bill
