Hi Diane,

I had a D&C followed by Novasure ablation on Dec. 7. I had pretty intense cramping afterward requiring Vicodin for the first day. After that, Advil worked fine. I was basically lying around for 2 days, and a bit wiped out on the third day. I went back to work 4 days later, but my job is not very physical. I have had "pressure" and heaviness feelings since the procedure which my dr. says is normal. Also a lot of spotting of blood/watery fluid. I found that lifting made the "pressure" feelings worse, so tried to avoid that.

I have chatted with many women who felt fine right afterward with no cramping. It is a very individual thing, but in general, I would think you should be able to work in 3-4 days.

Good luck!

Cindy
