Yesterday I had sudden heavy bleeding for about half an hour. I went to the emergency department where I had a scan to rule out ectopic pregnancy and to check for the embryo development. They found out a healthy embryo, with a good heart beat, development as it should be. They couldn't find the cause of the bleeding and I was told I had a threatened miscarriage. The bleeding has completely stopped now. Still I'm worried. I had a miscarriage in september and would rather not go through this again. I'm scheduled for an 11 weeks scan. Should I be concerned or do you think I just had unexplained bleeding? My cervix was closed, it doesn't seem to come from the placenta either.
