I was already on a steroid taper for 10 days, and the dosage was high (30mg of prednisone to start).

What I really want to kn ow is whether taking a birth control pill for just 10 days could cause a long term reaction like this. I have been off the pill for 6 weeks and I still have hives. I don't think I can be allergic to the pill itself - the inactive or active ingredients. However, I am concerned that my body is allergic to the hormonal response caused my Loestrin? Could my body's hormone production STILL be affected by the pill, even 6 weeks later? When will it go back to normal?
