I am not sure an MRI will shed any additional light on the subject. I think you still have to have the laparoscopy. They can look at and remove the lesion and give you answers that the imaging can not.

I have seen both Interstitial cystitis and pelvic floor dysfunction cause debilitating pain in patients, so that could be your answer. Neither are very easy to treat...Dr. von Almen
