This will be day 5 of the progesterone to induce period. At this point, doesn't it make sense to see if period comes? If it does, and lining sheds, then a biopsy would not be needed, would it? Or do it anyhow?

I see your point, however, that this could have been ordered right away.

But being as I've been taking the progesterone..?

I'm not in a hurry to get back on estrogen unless I go back to horrible sweats (Estroven is doing pretty well and just read about pycnogenol). Tho I have osteopenia and osteoporosis in the family and can't take Fosamax (muscle pain), so estrogen might be a good thing (no breast cancer in family).

And I did have a thickened lining before taking estrogen once
