MENORRHAGIA: Diagnostic LaparoscopyFrom: Katie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 30 Nov 2007 11:01:07 -0600 (CST)
I have been on here a few times with my saga... 24 y.o. female, no children. D and C in July, on birth control pills, very light spotting (only when I wiped) for 2 periods after D and C. Dr. tried Provera 10mg for 10days, very light spotting occurring 2.5 weeks after. Dr. took off BCP and tried Provera again. No bleeding but heavy cramping for a few days about 3.5 weeks in. Dr. attempted endometrial biopsy to clear possible clot in office. Very painful and she said she didn't get much (whatever that means). Dr. ran blood tests for prolactin and thyroid. Both normal. I received a call from the office that they want a Diagnostic Laparoscopy done. What exactly are they looking for? Has anyone else had this experience or similar? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
