I believe your employer is REQUIRED to provide you with a safe working environment, whether you are pregnant or not, but of course, especially if you are pregnant. Read of the federal laws on this. First I would talk with your OB and have him/her write some kind of a permission stating you need protection from these fumes. But, this is an issue for all of your co=workers. I am sure your business would not want to be sued if something came of these folks inhaling lead. Usually these areas are off limits during the time of the sand blasting. I would also consult with the EPA. Usually this is a very controlled situation, for precisely the concerns that you have.
