Katrin,

Both my aunt and I have had UTIs that never would go away for long. Ultimately my Urologist put me on a once daily dose of Macrodantin 50mg for a period of several months. It worked. I discussed with my aunt what was being done, so she could speak with her MD. Her MD prescribed the same course and she has been doing well. I still get UTI's but nothing like I used to.
