1. Briefly, describe what a “normal” day routine would be for you under normal circumstances. 2. Do you think that it would be crucial to also study gynecology along with obstetrics for the benefit of the patient? 3. What (in general) made you want to pursue your career in obstetrics? 4. What are some of the common birth defects you deal with? 5. What (on average) is the annual income for a person who chooses a career in obstetrics? 6. Would you consider yourself a sort of counselor to the parents of the developing child? Why? 7. Many different college courses and classes must be taken to pursue your career. Name a few. 8. Do you do everything from family planning to delivering newborns? Or do you remain with only one specialty? 9. What’s the best age range (in your opinion) for a mother to deliver a healthy baby? 10. How many years did you have to go to college to arrive at your current career? 11. Is it best to intern before trying to open your own practice? Why? 12. What college did you go to? 13. What are some things that one could do in high school if they’re interested in obstetrics to learn more or get a little experience? 14. Overall, do you enjoy your job as an obstetrician? Why? 15.
