The Mirena IUD is a great option. I wish I had gone that route instead of having my tubes tied. The inviting aspects of this type of birth control are most have little or no period and it is good for 5 years.

You are so young; I would not recommend having a permanant sterilization procedure at this point in your life. You never know how you may feel about more babies as you get older.

Again, from personal experience I would hesitate to have a tubal. They are also not as effective as everyone seems to think!

Good luck
