CHRONICPAIN: Severe pelvic pain every month

I am a 32 year old women. This past year I have had severe pain in my pelvic area that shoots into my back the same time every month(starting on the 15-16th day of my cycle). It is so predictable, I know which days I will be attached to the heating pad. During these "episodes", my pelvic area is tender and I feel swollen and bloated in that area also. I went to the ER at the beginning of the year and was diagnosed with a cyst on my left ovary. My doctor seems to think of it as no big deal, no pain meds, says they will go away. I have heard a couple of times that the cysts are gone ( no ultrasound or xray to confirm just an exam) but I am still in pain. Out of the whole year I have gone maybe 3 months without the pain during my cycle. Now, when I urinate, the pain is even more intense during these "episodes". I don't even know how to describe it. I am in so much pain it hurts to walk and move (hurts my insides when I have to sneeze and cough also) but then when I am using the bathroom the pain is doubled. My menstuals are not as heavy as they were when I did not have the cyst.... I would say they are light now, I used to have heavy periods. My cycles are like clock work....every 28 days. I was taking Birth Control for almost 5 years. I went off of them 10 months ago because my husband and I are trying to have a baby (my doctor knows all this). I am afraid all of this is causing infertility. I have searched for days on the internet and can't find anything about all these symptoms. What does this sound like to you? Any test I should ask my doctor to run? I am tired of being in this intense pain and I want to concieve a child. Any help would be appreciated.
