Without doing an exam it's very hard to say what could be causing this, but a few things come to mind: vaginitis (an infection), a cervical ectropion (where the glandular part of the cervix is more developed, leading to a mucus discharge causing excessive "wetness," or even a normal discharge. Birth control pills can cause an ectropion, which is harmless but can be annoying. It might be worthwhile to ask your gyn to re-examine you with this in mind. Changing the type of pill or changing contraception typically causes the ectropion to decrease in size. Best wishes,
