Re: PREGNANCY: Lower back pain?From: Senzafine (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 30 Oct 2007 18:46:28 -0500 (CDT)
At one point should I be concerned about a miscarriage if I'm experiencing mild cramping (sometimes I get stronger cramps like I've walked for too long if I'm up and about walking around) and the mild to moderate back pain? I haven't had any bleeding or discharge of note, just the lower back pain and some cramping. I guess I'm just a little scared because this is my first pregnancy and I don't want to lose it. I'm doing everything I can by the book (folic acid, small frequent meals, fluids, etc) but I'm pretty nervous and inexperienced about the whole thing. I'm 22 years old, married with only the one partner, non-drinker, non-smoker, no drug use, stopped taking all meds when we started trying, and have only taken tylenol recently. Is a miscarriage something I should even be worried about? Thanks for getting back to me Dr. von Almen, sorry for the silly questions.
