The Mirena IUS may be helpful for you. It is an Intrauterine System. It is used for women that also have Endometriosis or Adenomyosis. It is supposed to help with bleeding. A friend of mine has one and her periods are almost not existent!!! Also, if you want to become pregnant, they just take the system out and things should be fine. The system can stay in place for five years before it needs to be replaced.

So, talk with your MD about the Mirena. I have heard a lot of great things about it. You can also go to http://www.mirena.com for information from the manufacturer.

Good luck!! Keep us posted.
