PREGNANCY: High Blood Presure Meds while Pregnant

I developed chronic hypertension about 2 yrs. ago. My doctor has me on Methyldopa (Aldomet)250 mg. 3x a day, and Amlodipine (Norvasc) 10 mg. for my blood pressure. I will be trying to conceive soon and he switched me to these medications because they are known to be safe during pregnancy. I've seen good readings on-line about the Methyldopa, but has anyone ever taken Norvasc while pregnant? Is Norvasc safe while pregnant? Has anyone ever taken both/or/one of these medicines the whole 9 months of pregnancy. Aldomet or Norvasc? Would like to know a little bit more about it. Thanks.
