BLEEDING: Bleeding after strange times...help plz!

For the past month my body has been all messed up. I didn't start my period and then finally when I did it was just brown spotting and and then a few blood clots and then that was it. But then I started getting sick to my stomach about a week and half after the spotting stopped and I would have HORRIBLE stomach pains to the point where I dropped to the ground and cried. My GYNO called this week and said they had messed up on my pap smear. They over looked the tests results and sit me a card saying everything was normal and now their saying I had a abnormal test and I have to get a colopscopy( I took the pap smear 3 months ago). Now i'm having very RICH dark blood clots that are also big. And now when I'm sexually active with my boyfriend and my body ejacuates I start bleeding and then it stops. And it's been doing this all month. I'm on the NuvaRing but I have been on it for 4 years. My periods before we're regular, one day late if that and last about 5 days, 3 day steady then very light, I also never had blood clots either. Why am I having a weird period like this and stomach pain? Could this have something to do with my abnormal test results? I know your mind can play tricks on you and I dont want to scare myself into thinking it is due to something that it isn't when it could just be a common thing that happens during periods or a side effect of the NuvaRing. Thank you very much for any help.
