Re: MENORRHAGIA: Question on BC pillsFrom: Rebecca Sword (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 4 Oct 2007 08:59:40 -0500 (CDT)
This is no way a medical opinion but I have been taking birth control pills for 10 years now for painful periods and I have never heard of taking two pills a day. However, there was another post on this forum recently of a women with similar problems to yours that was told the same thing so far be it for me to argue with a doctor. However, I was always told by my doctor that if I am having any adverse effects to the pills or if they aren't working to help my pain that we can always try a different or stronger pill. I wish you all the luck at getting to the bottom of your problem.
