You mentioned on one of your posts that you take your husband on your obgyn visits.

I asked my husband to go to my urologist visit. I'm glad he did. He went on the visit that they taught me to cateterize myself & showed him how to do it to me If I couldn't. My husband was such a good sport, He really surprized me. I know how much he hates this stuff & he gets queezy going to a Dr's office.

I'm proud of him. They had me laying there spread out & The nurse explained my anatomy to him ( he kept a straight face) & showed him how to insert it.

Your message put the thought in my head & I'm so glad I asked him to go. The Doctor even shook his hand & told him thanks for coming in with me.

My husband said he's glad he was there, He understands so much more than just me trying to explain it. Plus, he thinks I'd try to hide bad news from him so this way he gets all the information first hand.

So thanks for your story, I would have never thought to ask him to go on my own.

Thanks Diane
