Re: MENORRHAGIA: Cycle Day 40

Thank you for your time Dr. von Almen. I don't have any hpts, so I have been using left over opks (I had an open box from two months ago). I have had negative results until this morning. I tested at 10am, and got a positive on the opk. What does this mean? Is it possible that I am pregnant, or am I ovulating again without having a period? Today is cycle day 42, which is 6 weeks from my last period.

Thank you for any help. I will be buying a hpt later today, but would like to know your thoughts on why I would get a positive on an opk on cycle day 42.
