Sue I think this is one of two things. The first is and endocervical polyp. A small collection of endocervical cells that are traumatized when you have an orgasm, and the blood comes out when you clean up. The second is that when you have an orgasm, and your uterus contracts, a small amount of blood is lost during this contracting. Neither of these things is of any great consequence. You could ask your doc to do an ultrasound just to see if there is a large polyp, but if nothing is found, I would not worry too much. Hope this helps...Dr. von Almen
