Keeping a diary of what you are experiencing and telling your doctor may be helpful. If you see sudden changes don't forget to tell the doc. (How is menopause diagnosed? - A simple blood test measuring follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) is usually all that is needed to diagnose menopause.) The changes can take several years too.
