UROGYNECOLOGY: Thanks to all!!, I learned how to catheterize myself yesterday

Thanks for everybody's help. I went to the urologist & he took the catheter out. They filled me with fluid & then brought me a potty chair to see how much I'd get rid of. I didn't void much at all, so she came in & taught me how to catheterize myself. It's easier than I thought, & I like it much better than the bag. She told me to void what I can & then cateterize myself & measure what I'm retaining. I did go twice today -- Yeah!!! & very little came out with the catheter.

Now that my bladder problem is at least controlable, my attention should be back on the Heavy periods. The doctor thought that the tampons didn't hurt the urithra because the cateter was working, He thought if something was wrong he would have been able to cateterize me.

This has just been too much lately, I think I'm gonna put off addressing my period problems & see if I can just live with it. With all my blood work -- at least I know I'm healthy, its just a very annoying problem.
