MENORRHAGIA: Cycle Day 40From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 28 Sep 2007 14:34:26 -0500 (CDT)
I am hoping that someone will have words of wisdom to share with me, as I am at a loss for what to do. I am 28, no children, history of endometriosis and irregular periods, and I am trying to conceive. I am on cycle day 40 and my period still hasn't come. I was not tracking anything this cycle. Last time I tracked was two cycles ago when I did my third round of clomid. That cycle lasted 42 days. Then the next month, on no fertility meds, my cycle was 32 days long. This month, I had a lot of egg white cervical mucus (which I don't normally have any) on cycle day 16, so I assumed I ovulated. I had sex with my husband that day, but did not have sex again until cycle day 34. On cycle day 18, my breasts became very sore. To the point where I could not lay on them at night. This happens to me most months, but usually the week before my period starts. This time, my period did not start a week later, and still has not started. I am still having very sore breasts and am feeling very crappy overall. I am tired and emotional and depressed. I am having pressure-like pain in my pelvic region, like my period is going to start any minute. I have not tested for pregnancy, as I feel it is highly unlikely and I am so tired of getting negatives. I think there is something wrong with me. Please, can anyone tell me what might be going on? I can't keep doing this month after month. Thank you.
