Hi tina, I found out through my doctor, 10 years ago, that many women who are late by even a few days, were probably pregnant, but the egg was not viable so the body just expells it with the period. According to him, it is not abnormal for this to happen and is natures way. I hope this helps some. Im not saying whether its true or not, but it came from my own doctor when I was trying to conceive. I fretted over every late period I had, and got upset everytime I started .
