I have had ovarian cysts in the past but none in the past few years when I've been on birth control. Lately every time I have any orgasm, I get cramps after it. It is worse with non-sex orgasms but still occurs. Then in the past week I have started getting a sharp pain when I get close to orgasm, around where my ovary would be. Can the Nuva Ring cause the cramps? and do you think the side pain is ovarian related or is this a symptom of something else? I've searched and can't find anything on this and I am really worried but a little embarrassed to go to the doctor and worried about cost of any tests they would run.
