It is not that I am disappointed to not be amenorrheic (that was never
my expectation going into the EA anyway), its that I went from nothing
to having some form of bleeding (even though light or spotting) every 7
days lasting between 2-4 days. Yes, it is a vast improvement in terms
of menorrhagia and I am grateful for that. However, I can't help but
wonder if there is something else going on besides hormones. Given that
it is only light bleeding and spotting, I am in a ridiculous amount of
pain. I still have to take 600 mg of ibuprofen at a time just to get
through the day. That has only gotten worse each month, so I suspect it
is something else.
