If Lupron is given, it will shrink any endo implants that are in there. If this happens, the implant may be missed. If it is missed you may be told you do not have Endo when in fact you do, it was just not seen. Further, any missed endo will cause a lot of problems when the lupron is stopped. When Lupron is stopped, the implants continue to grow.

I have had endo for many years...only diagnosed in 1998. My advice to you is not to take the lupron. You can find more information on lupron in the archives of this forum as well as going over to the endo forum on obgyn.net. You can also go over to Yahoo Groups and find the group ERC (Endometriosis Research Center) and join. You will find some of the best information on the internet over there.
