ONCOLOGY: Scabbing on different parts of the body...what to do?From: 727Girl (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 25 Sep 2007 00:08:09 -0500 (CDT)
I have multiple scabs on my body... 90% of the time I wear long jeans and 3/4 length sleeve tops... I've noticed in the past year I've developed scabs on my face, breasts, arms, & back...and it doesn't help that I like to pick at them...soon as it scabs over again I pick at it until it bleeds (strange i know) this has gone on for months... they don't hurt and they're very small... but the ones on my breasts worry me because I've had them for so long, a few of them have healed...but about 6 of them remain... and I'm getting scared...I know I should see a doctor...however I don't have medical insurance, and can't afford to pay for it (im a 22 yr old college student)... I've considered visiting and emergency room, but I doubt they can do anything but refer me to someone else...any info on what this could be is well appreciated!
