PREGNANCY: In need of advise as to when to try to conceive again

Hi!

Sorry for yet another message and thanks to the persons who kindly answered my previous questions.

My situation has changed a bit now. I went abck to the A&E today due to my bleeding which was still important 8 days after the start of my miscarriage (I was 11 weeks without my periods but embryo stopped developping at week 5 or 6). I've been having a foul smell for a few days and this morning I passed some clots which were obviously infected (judging by their colour and smell).

It was then decided that I will have a d&c tomorrow as the ultrasound showed some residuals on the cervical area (she measures two 5cm clots). I was given antibiotics (namely Kefexin 500 mg three times a day and Trikozol 400mg 3 times a day for 10 days).

Now we've been told that we could try as soon as we wanted (after bleeding stops) when I was miscarrying naturally. Seeing as I'm now having an infection (from the residuals it seems, the womb itself is not infected) and that I'm going to have a d&c, does it change anything as to us trying as soon as bleeding stops? Should we wait for my periods to return or it doesn't have any incidence on the next pregnancy if it occurs straight after the miscarriage?

Thanks in advance!
