Re: MISCARRIAGE: Miscarried last week and concerned about my bleeding

Thanks for the advise. I went to the doctor this morning as the clots I was loosing when I woke up were nasty colours. My CRP level is at 11 so not dramatically high. Leucocytes and hemoglobin are ok. She did an ultrasound and found a lot of residuals, which seems to be infected. I am scheduled for a d&c tomorrow morning. Now I'm gutted that I went through a lot of bleeding and contractions last week for nothing :(

Now should we wait for my periods to return after the d&c to try to conceive again or can we try as soon as the bleeding stops? If we don't wait for my periods is there an increased risk of miscarriage again?

Thanks
