I am searching for some solutions to chronic acute pain. In 1999, I was finally diagnosed with Stage IV Endometriosis. From 1999 to 2001, I had three surgeries before I finally had a complete hysterectomy. In 2002, I still was not okay and had major pain. They found an ovarian cyst on a remnant and of course major adhesions. The tethering was so bad they had to do a small bowel resection. I did finally feel some relief a few months later. However, after three years I had enough again and desperately needed pain relief. I had different pain but nonetheless terrible paina and major restrictions in my activity. I had a lyses done laparscopically and it went well until my small bowel perforation was found a few days later. I was extremely sick and rushed in for surgery. This time it was a full incision nine inches from my ribs to the bikini area. They performed another bowel resection and took down adhesions for about an hour before they got to the perforation. Today, a little over two years later I am in such agony I either want to hurt someone or just cry. It is almost misery to live like this. It isn't living. I feel like my insides are ripping and pain just shoots down my lef into my feet. I also have burning and major pain when I have bowel movements. I can't keep taking naproxen and ibuprofen...yes I have had ulcers in the past due to the pain. I need help and no one I seem to go to has any clue how to help me. Can someone help me at all? I am only 34, and I have a very busy professional career as well as a family to take care of. 4 (Scopes), 3 (Laparatomies)& 2 upper GIs and 2 Lower GIs
