MENORRHAGIA: No Period after termination

Help!! I had a pregnancy termination almost 4 months ago and i haven't had a period since. I have been to see the doctor who performed the termination and have not been given any answers. Now i'm really worried that there may have been some damage done during the termination and i could have ruined my chances of ever being able to concieve. Even though i havn't had a menstral cycle i seem to still get all the symptons every month of cramping, irritability etc just no blood. Please if anyone has experienced this or has and infomation on what to do next i would really appreciate it as this is really stressing me out. It's not a good feeling to be going to bed every night praying that when you wake up the next morning that you have your period.
