Re: ENDOMETRIOSIS: Adenomyosis...anyone else who suffers from this condition?

I really don't know much about this myself, but I was also recently told by my doctor that this is what I probably have. I had an endometrial ablation almost 5 months ago. It stopped the bleeding completely for 3 months, but I had increasing pelvic pain each month. Exactly at month 4, the bleeding returned (albeit light) and the pain and cramping was the worst yet. I was diagnosed with endometriosis 10 years ago, so I guess that longstanding history might be a contributing factor. I was given the option of a hysterectomy last week because of suspected adenomyosis, and I am still thinking it over.
