CHRONICPAIN: Pelvic Pain after Vein EmbolizationFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 20 Sep 2007 01:02:05 -0500 (CDT)
I have suffered from Pelvic pain for almost 10 years. Have had 3 laparoscopies, first and second showed endometriosis, third nothing. More recently I have had 3 vein embolization in the pelvic area. I have also tried a variety of medications. It is only the left side that I have issues with. After my second embolization, my upper thigh started hurting on and off. After the third, my entire thigh down to the knee started hurting. I keep getting passed around from dr to dr. Have recently had CT, MRI and next week having a bone scan. Due to having coils placed in the pelvic area, the left side can not be read accurately with MRI. I am frustrated, depressed and just TIRED! Any ideas of what to do next?? Who to see?? Suggestions would be ever so helpful. Thank you for your time.
